Tenants questions (visitors)

How can I search for a holiday home?
On the main page you can search by country, region and type of home. When you prefer to search more extensively, you can go to the “Advanced search” page.
On this page you can search by date, number of persons, number of bedrooms and which extras you prefer to make your holiday home more pleasant, like a pool, etc…

How can I book for a holiday home?
If you have made the choice which holiday home you want, you can contact the home owner through the online application form.

How is everything handled?
After you have filled in the application form, the owner will handle your application and contact you to confirm your booking.

What with the payment/handing over of the key?
The letter will arrange this with you. Do make sure that everything is clearly written black on white. Always ask for an invoice to avoid misunderstandings.

What to do with differences between tenant and owner?
We are not responsible for eventual differences and misuses between the tenants and letters. You can always notify us of your complaints, so we can address the owner about it and possibly sanction him or remove him from our website.

Owners questions (holiday home owners)

How can I start an account?
You just need to register. With a personal username and password you can sign in. When you’re logged in, you can add a holiday home to the list.

I am a new letter. Can I really test during 3 months for FREE?
Each new account comes with the welcome gift of 3 FREE months to test all the functions.

And what happens after these 3 months?
Then you have the option to renew your advertisement for 3 months, 6 months, or a year.

What happens when my advertisement expires?
You will receive an e-mail a few weeks before your advertisements expires, asking you to renew it. Again you can choose from the 3 registration options.

Am I obliged to renew my advertisement?
You have no obligations. You renew your advertisement if this is what suits you best. Your account will be stored in our secured database. Even after a few months or years you can still enter it with your personal log in details.

Can I place my advertisement in several languages?
Yes, you can. However, it is important that you also master this language, as you will need to be able to respond to each application form in the chosen language.

And what if I want to place my advertisement in only 1 language?
Then you should only fill the details in the concerning language. You just leave the other languages blanc. Your advertisement will only be shown in the language of your choice.

I would like to have my advertisement translated, is this possible?
Yes, we work with a translation service. If you wish to have your advertisement translated, you can visit the following website: http://www.vacationplace.eu/vertalingen.html

Is it possible to place several advertisements with 1 account?
Yes, you can place several advertisements with your account. You just pay the registration costs for each advertisement.

Can I change my advertisement contents myself?
When you log in to your account, you can adjust or change any advertisement at all times.

What do I need to do when my holiday home is let?
When your holiday home is let for a certain period, you need to indicate this on the calendar. This way visitors can see that the holiday home is already occupied for that period.

What payment options are available?

You can pay by credit card through Paypal or by bank transfer.
